I hope everything works out for you. I am starting their driver training program shortly here. Do they offer teams after completing their program?

You might want to direct your questions to the good company section!

There's a lot more to "Central Refrigerated" once you start "turning over the rocks"... It's just one "snake pit" after another...

See my thread from Disenchanted regarding Central... Please take the time to answer the questionaire and let's see if we can FIX THIS INDUSTRY !

"Disenchanted" but Never, EVER GIVE UP !

Doing the same to the lady friend of mine that drives for Diversified Tanransfer and Storage. If you are off work and under medical care they can not force you back to work unless the DR releases you. lUCKY YOU SHE ONLY GET 66 % OF REGULAR WAGES AND THAT TOPS AT 660 PER WEEK. get an attorney QUICK.

Keep in mind that each state has differnet rules for workmans comp. Some states also let the companies opt out of state run workmans comp as long as they substitute one that shows a better benefit than the states. The company I work for did this in Texas. They do require you to work if you have restrictions, but its work within the restrictions. If the Dr. says you can not do anything, then that would be the only time you would not have to work. We also pay per hour as part of the wages. We pay 85% of I believe 1 years average weekly wages, but $9 per hour at 40 hours per week is part of it, then rest is paid out also by the "insurance" program. That type of system is designed to cut back on places like chiropractors or accupuncture therapists from milking the company (Under Texas workcomp, those were allowed treatments that were never ending). Also the employee's that are not truly hurt that were collecting money when they shouldnt be. Hope this somewhat helps.

You need a workmans comp lawyer, they have one. You won't have to pay them they will collect on settlement.
Not having a lawyer for this is like taking a can of mace to a gun fight.
