Ohio Highway Patrol on warpath.....

LOL, none of them involve truckers although someone did TRY and blame theirs on a trucker. Luckily the witnesses were not having any of that bull hockey.

 

I've never had issues with Ohio. We have tons of problems with Indiana. We run in 29 states and HALF of all of our traffic violations come from Indiana.

 

Knock on wood, we don't get traffic violations often. Inspections have been really high lately but not violations. One of our drivers has been traveling to Washington a lot lately and gone through Indiana but he is a cautious driver. I might just give him a little reminder that everyone is out in full force lately.

 

And please be aware in Indiana 4 wheelers are 70, big rigs are 65 and we've had multiple trucks pulled over for 66 in a 65. They won't get a speeding ticket, they'll get a level 3 inspection right on the side of the interstate.

 

Much appreciated! Craziness. Not that we are not already prepared for the level 3 but who the heck wants to waste that kind of time when you're driving to or from Washington from Ohio.

 

Indiana can be petty as well. Missouri and Mississippi are our problem states

and then we will here another story about how another officer got run over on the side of the interstate, they just create a dangerous situation with other vehicles in heavy traffic all trying to move over while some nitwit gives an inspection on the shoulder as drivers running to beat a clock speed by lol stupid is as stupid does i guess

 

Ohio is trying to make up lost revenue from when the speed limit for trucks was changed.
