I purchased one from filtron solutions a long time back..10 years or more for a 60series. Still in the box. My bad, had ideas but never made it to fruition. Can't answer your question..never really talked to anyone who used one, or something like it. Will be interested to hear from with experience. Good luck.

    I have a spinner II.
I didn't install it to extend my oil change duration. I installed it to extend my motors life. I change my oil around 15,000.
The spinner does remove a black jelly from the oil. I'm told it is soot.
I don't know if it helps.
    I'm sure it doesn't hurt.

Last month I overhauled the motor. Hope to get the most miles possible.

I use Gulf Coast Filters GCF1. I sample every 10k, change filters every 12k. little over 100k on oil and samples coming back near VOA every time. Gulf coast does the interpretation of each analysis.
Gives me a lot of confidence in the internal health of my 3406E.

Bought the GCF1 housing used. Sourced the braided lines and fittings from a speed shop. Fabbed mounting bracket myself and installed an inline ball valve from McMaster for sampling. All in just under $300. Money well spent.

It used to use 2 rolls of paper towels. Now they require using their filters which are a roll of paper towels with a fabric sock around them.
Reason for that is GCF claims they were finding cellulose in the samples so they came up with this solution.

You can use plain old paper towel rolls but, if they find cellulose in the samples they will no longer interpret the the samples for you. In other word you wont be able to participate in their oil analysis program.

    wait?

You overhauled it last month with 15k oil changes and a spinner?

How many miles did you have on it when you overhauled it?

    2million?
