Be careful watching temps and egt gauge that you should have now.. some guys pull the safeties like low water low oil pressure out of the programming .. a buddy has 1.4 million on his 2010 isx it was done at 400 k because he got tired of constant failures . His oil stays clean till 10 k before it changes to black now.

I'm not sure what we are allowed to discuss as far as deletes go so I sent a message to the mod squad for clarification.

Oil, filters, grease are the cheapest things I purchase. It's the cheapest insurance ever.

10k oil change and grease every 5k. I'll throw that away over and over. Last barrel of Shell Rotella T on sale 500 bucks out the door.

Got some clarification from DOG on the delete subject.
It's a gray area that they would rather not see .
Based on what's here and on the Morehouse thread were good .
    No who .
    No how
    No where
    Results are ok .

Thought things over some more and now that I'm not filling the oil with soot anymore I think I'm gonna go back to full synthetic 5 w40 oil and do 70k drains with 35k filter changes.
Did this on my 07 Volvo with excellent results.
Of course it will still see regular greasing.
Already run full synthetic oil in the apu .
