Well i'll be the first to say that I put a foot in my mouth, The company I work for in PA has come to a hault. Im heading to Ohio in a few days, Im not complaining though, Im from KY so it only puts me closer to home. Best of luck to all of you all!

From my experience most of the companies are looking for people with experience. The bigger ones, like Halliburton and Baker Hughes will hire people without a CDL and send them to get it. You might try their websites and fill out a bunch of applications.

I got hired with no experience. There is a big difference between the calling and walking through the door.
Right now I'm working for a petroleum company fueling frac pumps,in Texas but I am thinking about heading for ND in the spring/summer to try and get a job fracing.
I am interested in ND because it is closer to my home in Iowa and my parents in Minnesota. -
They flare here too after a frac job but I heard that has to do with boiling the water out of the gas or something along those lines, I'm sure haul hand may be able to explain it much better!
It doesnt bother me about ohio but it just means my boss will have to buy some transports instead of tri-axles. -
HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this.

I agree with you 100%, I didnt know they were burning all the gas off of those wells until EZ said that! If your taking the earths resources and just wasting them, thats not right.
