Ok, the transmission fluid was fine and I flushed the system out. It wasn't oil but a kinda of weird flaky black #### that mostly disintegrated into a black gunk similar to oil when rubbed. One of the coolant hoses leading directly into the resevoir was a black rubber hose so I replaced that with silicone.

Have some basic maintenance to do, oil and fuel filter change, before taking it out on a test drive. Thank you all for the help you saved me a trip to the shop.

There was a black rubber hose on mine but it was a replacement hose, just like you said.

Nice for being a minor issue! Mine coolant tank is greyish milky again after last month flush. My truck has been running milky coolant for past 6 months 50k miles so you should be fine.

    RunningAces Thanks this.
