Hello, I've got a minor oil leak in the back of the engine on passenger side, but not sure where is it coming from. Went to the shop, they replaced egr heater and told me that that it was it. 700 miles later fresh oil stain reappeared at the same spot. Maybe any of you ran into the same issue or might have an idea what may be the cause?
    Thank you

Bad. Most people think it is the rear main crank seal. It is going to be flywheel housing gasket. Worst job in shop to do!! It is how I punish my guys that are getting on my nerves. I do bonus them for this job. It sucks.

Those metal gaskets with the thin rubber inlay are absolute garbage. Way too much vibration for that type of gasket to not leak over time. They would have been better off to do a cutout groove and a rope style seal. But hey, its job security and yes they do suck.
