BUT when it comes to seals.. I take it to the pro's

I recently had the same problem on my 07 VNL64T. However my truck has meritor axles, not eatons. Turns out the nut backed off the yoke. I've had this happen before on other trucks the difference here was it was leaking through the threads up the middle not around the seal. Don't really know if that's the way meritors are as opposed to eatons but it's an easy fix if you have access to air and a 3/4 impact gun. I changed the seal and the nut. It's pretty straight forward.

U can't take of the yolk without an air impact wrench. Other way is like 15 min job.
P.S. DO NOT try without air.
