2016 cascades evolution with a DD15. Dealers charging 700 to replace the oil pan gasket. Has anyone done this themselves? how difficult can this be with minimum mechanical skills.

There are several videos on Ytube. You need to be able to lift front axle (i think), and remove bumper . And why cant you find independent shop that will charge less?

700 doesnt sound that unreasonable to me. Does this price include new oil and filters? That's 200 for parts alone right there.
