    ok I got my cdl a and i am looking for a oilfield job in the pa area. is there some sort of secret squirrel handshake i have to know to find one?

    i used to have hazmat, i dropped it when i moved out to new york, didnt want to retake the test and fingerprints and pay the extra fees when i had just did that a month prior. but yes got tanker and double/triples

    I am not sure it works like that. Maybe somebody else knows for sure but I don't think you have to retake a haz mat test or background check if you already have the endorsement. You will have to pay to change your license to ND, TX, etc.

    Well the I had hazmat on my Mt cdl, but when I moved to NY and did the transfer, the dmv wanted me to retake the test and background check and all associated fees.

    I wonder if that was just typical east coast hand in your pocket rip off or if it's nationwide. I think I'll call the DMV in TX and see what they say. Probably have to wait til Monday though.
