oilfield laying off

    talked to a couple of my friends in Midland, the companies there are at, are laying off, and slowing down. also talked to one in Farmington NM they are laying off too....

    You must not be working the Big Lake or Midland, Texas area. If there has been a slow down here, I can not tell it.

    Better look again bud. Big Lake traffic has been cut in half. Stop by the Sunoco and ask David the store manager if his sales have dropped.

    If your deal is solid then that's great but layoffs have come to Big Lake and their Midland suppliers I promise.

    Weatherford announced layoffs in south TX today. Not a big yard in Alice but everybody got laid off.

    all i am seeing is the bigger guys doing HUGE layoffs, yet so many are denying its happening....WHY? that wont make it not true...if the bigger guys are laying off, the small guys arent gonna be able to survive....
