thats gonna stink. cuz he keeps his trk clean and doesnt smoke....the other guys are pigs.....
they alrdy sent out notices just a couple wks after they got the new trks that the drivers needed to clean them or would be fined..THEY WERE NASTY...except my husbands....
but i do understand the reasoning.....makes more money...and thats the name of the game....
right now they have day and night drivers...but they dont share trks....hubby is on nights..and no one drives his trk during the day while he is off...
i am have been driving a long darn time....if it AINT BROKE...DONT FIX IT...if you have drivers that are happy and doing a good job...taking care of the customer and its BEEN working that way..WHY CHANGE IT????
GREEDY thats why.....UGHtruckon and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
slip seating does suck. It is even worse when my truck has to go to the shop for egr issues... and now I have to float to what ever truck is available... if one is.
-
yeah he has been using whatever was avail...he finally got his trk back last night...and they gave him a new tanker...
HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and truckon Thank this. -
i have to laugh.....now they are saying they are staying on 5/2...which is what we want...so i am happy about that...but they sure so change back n forth on how things are gonna be....
instead they have 20 new trks/tankers that will be in by the end of next month, and will be adding more drivers instead of going to 6/3 then 5/2.....hope this stays the plan....
btw gross today was just shy of of $2000.....Chibob and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
I am glad things are going in the right direction.
I should be in Corpus Christi first week of Aug. Just wrapping things up here. Then my adventure begins.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
amazing they listened to the drivers.
We also got to vote on what schedule the drivers wanted, and all of us that have been here more than 3 months voted to stay with the 6/2 schedule, much to the disappointment of the local manager. Yet he tried to institute a 5/2 5/3 schedule with a floater assigned to each truck.... until us drivers used the open door policy, and went to the GM.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
well i am glad to hear that you are finally getting things rolling on YOUR end..you and i have been talkin about it for quite some time....keep me posted....
