    I did the hose thing too....only the electrical ambilical fell off in the main thruway of a d.c and everybody took turns running it over.lol....never did it again
    A spare is always a good idea tho

    Ahmen..brother......that andforgetiing your trailer number after u scale and go in for the ticket....I try to make that a habit.lol

    happens quite often in the LTL world, which baffles my mind. But when youre tired, anything can happen. I hear a glad hand coming through the back glass will make you have to change your skivvies

    That's why I like working for a smaller fleet. 3 digit truck and trailer numbers with the trailer numbers starting with a T.

    Now scaling in Arizona.....now that's when you got to bust out the notepad no matter who you drive for.

    I did something similar once, but while walking around the truck. I was checking the curbside tires at night and didn't realize how steep the side of the ramp was. Next thing I know I've rolled 15 feet down an incline into a ditch lol. The sad part was I fell again when I got back to the top and rolled only halfway down the second time.

    Something similar, just the other day. Hooked a trailer at night, used the work lights. It's a flatbed setup so the light are higher up and to the side for the headache rack/gear storage. Left them on for about 60 miles before I realized it. I did wonder why I could see the road spray off my tires so well in the mirrors a few times.
