The fact that he wants a tool to bleed the brakes makes me think this is a lost cause man....

By the way, just in case you do make a go of it... after about a year you'll have just enough experience to *think* you've got it licked. In my experience as a driver trainer, this is probably the most dangerous time for you.
If you have to, emulate Marcus Aurelius and have a recording play back to you: "I'm still a noob, I'm still a noob..." -
Sounds like he wants to take him "home" with him on the road. With all those gadgets he's going to need a generator to back up his truck's generator.

Do you have a Class A CDL? Almost anyone can drive a straight truck depending on the size and weight you might not even need a Class B license.
I run local about 90% of the time now but when i was otr i had a decent map a sack lunch and a cb which i never did turn on. Wanting a fridge microwave game thing tvs gps and heck you have a mess. WAY too much junk to go down the road. plus the weight savings of not having that stuff Heck the 100+ pounds could be 2 extra bags of onions or 50 gallons of fuel ( it think ).
But do you have a CDL? -
I would take bets that you wont be an owner operator long, unless you do some quick learning

you should drive to make money, not drive to see how many toys you can put in your truck. just my 2c.

After reading this post, I now know why my Insurance rates went up 25% over a 5 year period even though I never had one claim, no tickets, perfect DOT rating and my equipment was getting older and had less value.
The sad thing is I'm sure someday I'll probably have to work for this guy, that's how my luck seems to work out. -
