I think you did good getting out of there personally, the west side of the mountains would have had you begging for loads at a buck a mile for van. How dod they do it when diesel is 4.30 a gal up there and the surrounding states, I have no idea.
Ok, how bad did I screw up?

Yeah but it's in front of him and he won't catch it..... only the aftermath might slow him a bit. It was 85 in the Alamo today bud......come see us.....beats being cold.

Weather: I'm heading East, so whatever's in front of me will likely remain there for the duration of my trip. And what's behind me will be outstanding for the next couple of days.
Besides, I'm a truck driver. It's my job to drive through all kinds of weather. And I'll be heavy. Not like I'm going to park it over a few flakes.larry2903 Thanks this. -
Watch your tolls if you take 80/90 and once 90 turns into the Masspike - wouldn't want the Rate Per Mile to drop. Sending you a PM.

What did you get coming into Spokane? I think I remember you loaded in the Twin Cities.
What really sucks is that you said this is a heavy load, and you already get crappy fuel mileage as it is. I guess it's a good thing you don't have to pay for the fuel. This week you will be making twice as much as your boss will be.
So maybe you should ask the original question to your boss? But I guess if he signed the rate sheet and all that, then he approves...hmmph.
I say have at it. Any time you as a company driver can make $1,300 for the week and only have to do one load, how much better could it be?j3411 Thanks this. -
