Its a 1945 KW. We could not find a model number on it. It belongs to a buddy of my husbands and he asked him what he thought it was worth, both as is and restored. The motor is actually a cummins, I know its yellow, but it is a cummins.
Of course we have no clue what to tell him to ask for it as it sits, let alone if he restores it. Sorry for the picture overload, but maybe someone will have a ballpark idea???

Ok, KW connoisseurs, do you know what this is worth???

I'll have to ask my company.
I drive that exact year/model daily... they've always REFUSED to buy new trucks.
Seriously tho, one that old and depending on condition/parts availability, I wouldn't know where to begin to start.
A brief web search shows a few places you might inquire.
This one "might" be able to help.

Maybe contacting these folks will assist you, also.
Surely a WWII era classic!

There's a truck museum in Brooks Oregon that might be a good source on info. They have a lot of active members with older restored trucks. Great place to visit and they have a steam up in August.

Interesting reading on the KW's many of the dealerships originated in 1945. That must of been one of the first showroom trucks.Last edited: Nov 15, 2013

There's a twist on each strand, like shag carpeting.
I remember tearing out truck seats from 40's era, and seeing many were stuffed with moss/straw type "padding".bullhaulerswife and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
I don't know how much its worth but there is a guy running one of those fully restored pulling a flatbed. I see him every now and then on the ohio turnpike and its definitely an eye catcher.
