One of our guys worked for a grease rendering company for 14 years. No kidding that's a worse job he told me some of his stories about some of the kill plants he went to he was the fat and bone guy and food is a cake walk compared to some of the places and things he had to do working for the grease company.

Dollar stores are the worst trucking job. Dollar Tree was my first job out of driving school and man I had to get into some tight spots. It was tough work, and when I'd be running hard I'd gross about $1500/week. Food service is also tight spots and tough work but it is possible to gross about $2000/week. Big difference is there are fewer stores in food service. There might be 100 stores I'd deliver to in food service, and there had to be at least 500 Dollar Trees. In food service, I see the same tight spots over and over and have an easier time with it.

    speedyk and homeskillet Thank this.
