Ok, who got a notice from the IRS after paying their 2290???

Try telling that to them, lol. Soon, there will be a fee if you have anything other than a white truck. Oh, a red truck? That is an extra $100/year!

 

Happened to us.
We filed report online.
They happily took money out of our account.
We went to local IRS office and got the copy we printed online stamped by IRS office.(this is going to be our savior)
Got a letter a few weeks ago and they had our money and didn't know what to do with it.
They wanted a copy of the report we did online.
Wife sends them a Copy of the STAMPED BY IRS to them.
Waiting to hear now that they didn't get anything.
The whole deal came from the now famous Cincinnati IRS office.

You talk about a perfect example of big wasteful government, this group is it.

Just got home and found 2 IRS letters in the mailbox.

It looks like they are post-dating their notices. Today is the 19th.

The one dated Sept. 23 says I owe $553.79 but he one dated Sept. 30 says -

Balance Due $3.79
Late Penalty Removed $2.75 (I wonder why they capitalize every word in the sentence)
Reduction of Interest Previously Charged $1.04
Total Amount You Owe NONE

I guess they are letting me know they caught their own goof. How nice.

And these are the boobs who are supposed to be running our health care?!!!!!!!

 

Paid my tax using expresstrucktax on Aug. 31st and just found the two letters when I got home.

 

Ever wonder if the error incurred might be from the third party involved?

How many have went to the IRS and found they have issues?
