True but think about it if everybody boycotted those cheap rates they'd be forced to pay a decent rate. But you're always going to have people who think they're making money when they're hauling cheap freight

I mean, good for her I guess. Looking at my margin on the loads I've got on the board: I have 1 at 7.32%, 1 at 8.97%, a couple at 20%, a couple at 13-17, 1 at 0%. I wish I was making $300 at least, on every one of these, lol.

    I almost cried yesterday.

My next door Neighbour calls brokers to grab his heavy equipment. The broker told him it was going to be $5000 to move said equipment.

He booked it and broker hired the load out.

When said trucker came to grab load my Neighbour gave him the paperwork with the total on it not know the broker was taking his cut too. Well in this case the broker put it on the load board for $1200.... He pretty much took $3800 for himself.

Not sure who’s dumber, the neighbor for not getting multiple quotes, or the trucker for taking it at $1200

You're asking to apply Socialism to rates. I'll pass. Demanding places that have a low cost of living to pay a rate in higher places isn't something I'd be comfortable with.

No am not. Its not that complicated. Its basically supply and demand.. When there is plenty of trucks, rates go down. A shortage rates go up. Point I am trying to make is basically, don't haul cheap freight....
