    If you drive 10 and break for 10 that leaves 4 hours of on duty available to work on line three or line four in a 24 hour period. If they paid us by the hour like the rest of the working stiffs in America we would not need HOS.

    HOS is Crap and the fleets use it to abuse drivers. You are forced to drive if you have HOS available. The only way to make money is to work your behind off driving 11-13 hours per day. Slave wages equals lost freedom.

    I dont like 34 hr breaks in a truck stop.

    i dont take em, unless i've been sitting in a shop for 24 hrs. might as well take another 10 and get a fresh 70.

    Whats a 70? I tend to see nothing but 9.75-11.75 next to that spot that says at one point in time I had 70. I know the last time I had 70 was in Dec when I took hometime lol.
