Old big radiator trucks

    Someone mentioned it on here a couple months ago and I've noticed the abscence of them on all the dealer lots lately. I remember someone told me years ago that they only really sell a decent volume of them out in western Canada because of all the logging.

    2007 or 2008 I think.. they just existed long enough for some areo cab models to be made

    Don't overlook the fact that modern motors with all the emissions garbage are designed to operate at higher temps. No more 180 degree thermostats and every X15 I've driven has annoyed me with how much the fan comes on.

    My fan used to come on all the time.

    But then something changed and I won't mention it. It hardly comes on now.

    My car had a taste of it. For a week. Would barely cool down at work in the summer sun.

    Biggest radiator I've seen came out of a GMC General.

    It makes the FLD radiator look tiny.

    Yet the FLD keeps that engine cool as a cucumber.
