If you're going to move to the midwest go to the Chicagoland area. You will be on a bid run in weeks. Especially if you already have a co driver.
Sleeper teams money at UPS is very good.
I had a sleeper bid run that was only 3 days out. 4200 miles and I grossed between $2250-2300 a week.
I've covered several new runs last year and have seen gross checks over $3k in a week for being out 4.5 days.
They have bid runs where you are out 6 days a week. So I'm sure you can imagine what them paychecks would look like.
If you like money and like to run sleeper teams, that's the place to be.

That's a fair bit more than I'm making in 5 days doing day cabs, so that's pretty good.

@De Trucker On the 3 or 4 day runs do you have to be available for another run on your off days or do you get 3/4 days off?

If you come in on extra board to do extra work you get paid time and a half. Because that is considered like your Saturday. If you come in another day on top of that, you get paid double time to work.bentstrider83, The Shadow, Digman943 and 1 other person Thank this. -
How did this story end up, anyhow?
