Yes. All their linehaul operations are done with sets. Doubles aren't difficult. You just gotta hold on to 'em. It's not hard to hook them up either.
I couldn't tell you about pay and benefits. As for safety, if Old Dominion's safety dep't is anything like where I work, they don't miss a beat and will back a driver on out-of-hours disputes.
You may spend a night in the yard learning the coupling process, and then the next night they'll send you out with a load, if you elect to do the linehaul thing that is.

your stops are at terminals ONLY. you will not drive through nyc looking for jimmy's wholesale outlet for 5 hours. ALL hotels are paid by the company EVERY night!! most driving is at night....and it is almost always doubles or as they call them (pubs). and if later you decide you wanna go local you can with out any problems. :smt026 -

As I just became unemployed as of last Fri.(Lay offs in the Fl. building industry) I,ll be checking them out. Maybe Ill get the stae to pay for my school. Im omw to the unemployment office this morn. Ill post as to what they have to say for others to benifit. -
