    The terminal managers that I spoke to were adamant that it was normal procedure and was expected every day. Perhaps they don't like women drivers I don't know. I'd hope not. On those occasions how much weight are you moving and how far?

    I don't move more than maybe 150 but thats just scooting it alittle not really lifting. but otr drivers don't do much lifting as most of it is just drop & hook.

    Smurf,

    I and a friend are looking to get our CDLs and then become a team.

    The kind of driving we would be looking for is taking loads all over the USA, Canada and Mexico, staying out on the road for weeks.

    Do you think OD could use a team of guys who just quit the bar business and are looking to break into the trucking biz?

    And if you were to recommend the best way to learn safety and the handling of all cargoes, is there an especially great school, vo tech or community college, which would teach us everything we need to catch on with a great firm such as yours?
