I graduated from trucking school a few months ago and needed to get my foot in the door because I had no experience. I went with the first place that would take me, driving tankers filling up gas stations and whatnot. I'm really wanting to go with a better company that has better pay and full medical benefits... and I don't want to be covered in filth when I come home every day for the rest of my life. I need to do p&d because of my wife's medical situation. I've been hearing good things about Old Dominion, but USF Holland has full insurance. Just trying to get a feel for what each company will offer me.
Old Dominion or USF Holland

You can't beat Holland medical insurance if it's still through BCBS.
Highway_Executive Thanks this. -

Probably have better working conditions and atmosphere at Old Dominion, but better medical benefits at Holland. Either place will be a good paycheck, but with the wife having medical condition; probably go with Holland just for the medical benefits.Highway_Executive Thanks this. -
They told me at Holland that they use blue cross blue shield. But I'm wondering if OD makes up for it with better pay, or if they pay insurance for you. Not really sure how OD works with that.
