Hey guys quick question I'm a rookie here with no experience or cdl I've put in applications in with these two companies I'm just wondering which is the best one and would these two even hire a police officer with no experience

Possibly? I know I hooked on with R&L fresh out of school as a dock/driver worker.(I never once had to work the dock) I think you'll definitely stand a chance with either, provided the terminal in your area is hiring.

Not 100% positive, but I don't think either one of those companies are "cdl training" companies. I believe that you might have some kind of shot with them once you get your cdl, but I believe that they both prefer experience. Have you looked at their qualifications on their websites?

Old Dominion is union. They will have their own set of rules on hiring and rookie training.

yeah love being a police officer just not making near enough of what i should make and ive worked in unions before old dominion is not union and they do have a training program we had another police officer leave for them

Old Dominion is not union? I thought they were thrown in with Roadway and Yellow Freight? I could have sworn that Roadway was teamster.

those two companies are union abf is two them along with old dominion are ltl companies from what ive read

thats one of the reason ive wanted to go old dominion or south eastern been in unions before got a bad taste in my mouth from them dont think i would go back to one
