Congratulations! OD is a great company to work for. You'll love it. Will you do linehaul or P&D?

    JenV Thanks this.

I worked for them for about a year when I was going through my LTL phase. Easy job once you've been there a few months and pay is decent. I bumped docks M-F and did linehaul occasionally on Sat/Sun. Only thing I didn't like about them when I moved to NY/NJ was the OT policy which was chintzy. In WA state they paid OT after 40 hrs and that combined with no state income tax made for a great paying job for how easy it was.

Congrats, @JenV ! Many of us put in over a decade before getting a good LTL gig. It sounds like you weren't just fortunate, but were very determined, as well. Good job going out there and making it happen. Don't be afraid to ask questions of your experienced coworkers, especially when winter hits and you're pulling those wagons through the snow!

    TequilaSunrise and JenV Thank this.
