Thanks. When snow comes I head to Mexico. I enjoy long haul. Dump truck is not my cup of tea. But I thank you for trying to help.
Old Guy may want to drive again

A little story about truck movers.
Lets assume you live in TO, You get a call from your company.
Hey Elroy, buddy I got 5 transit busses at Halifax harbor that
are supposed to be in Vancouver, how much do you need to handle that. you respond $1,000,000. They answer, you got it come in and sign the contract.
prob 1===That done you fly to Halifax on your dime and go to the harbor and get them released and are told all 5 buses must be off the property in 10 days, gotta find a storage yard. Can't hire 4 more drivers, they must be certified by the company.
prob 2 they are city buses and run on natural gas, nobody thought of that when the contract was drawn up, are YOU qualified fo dat and where do you get natural gas between HAL AND VAN?
PROB 3 what about insurance, YOU are responsible and under contract.
motel every night
coordinate flights between van. and hal.
cabs/uber
should I go on?
That's 1 company in Hamilton not the link In post 34.Elroythekid Thanks this. -
You are responsible for undecking these. Some dealers have a lift and some don't,
You also have to replace the axles on the towed vehicle sometimes.
The tools needed for the job will need to be carried with you in your luggage. on the return.
And, NO, You can't use the bunk.
It can be a good job but know what you are getting into.Elroythekid Thanks this.
