One thing that I will give you that is an easily researchable fact; Bhandal Brothers Inc.'s ISS D recomendation score is 100(that is a score given from 1 being excellent to 100 being worst possible). I couldn't imagine what kind of safety violations one would have to have on record to achieve the worst possible score. I personally have never seen a score of 100 before.
If that doesn't say something about your prospective employer, I don't know what does.

I will come clean and tell you that the original article I cited was indeed Lasher Brothers. However, I am not wrong when I said my sources have mentioned Bhandal Brothers as one of the other companies to possibly come into the situation. Like I said before, take it with a grain of salt. I'm only repeating what I had heard from a confidential source.
In case you didn't read my previous post, I think their safety scores speaks volumes about how they operate. That information is public record and easily accessible. When I was running my own authority, my company was one of the biggest outlaw outfits around when it came to DOT/FMCSA compliance, and my ISS D score was only 72. I have never personally seen a score of 100 before. Since it is based on a statistical algorithm, I didn't figure it was possible to achieve a score of 100. -
The following is taken directly from the saferstat website in regards to Bhandal Brothers Trucking Inc. MC#280068 based in Watsonville,CA.

I think this is a link to what you are talking about....in which case, I did find it

I tried responding to your private message but without "50 posts", I couldnt. So I'll state it here. I am not a member of Bhandal Management. I am not a member of the Bhandal family. I am truely, simply a driver trying to find out the best place to go to work for. You are right though, the safety numbers do speak volumes. Especially since, dare I say it.... If you look at the numbers from like 05-06, to current. They actually increase. says 99 for the driver portion, and 80 for the trucks, and 54 for the management of it all. For a combines score of...yep....100. The link to that, is here

The stats show, that driver error, even though its 99 percent, is still not as bad as vehicles, which is only at 80. That doesnt make sense, but the facts are in the numbers safestat posted. Which says in the last 30 months, 641 drivers were inspected resulting in 93 out of service violations based on the driver - logs, over hours, etc. It shows out of actual TRUCK inspections....Shows 358 truck inspections in the last 30 months, with 127 out of service violations. But the OOS violations with the vehicles could be why they are saying they are buying 10-15 NEW trucks a year... However, I've never been through a scale or inspection where they only inspect me, and not the truck. Unless they are counting in traffic stops, etc, where they find log book violations with the drivers

The thing I dont understand is why the hell is every one here ######## about their safe stat ranks...if you dont want to drive their dont..go some where else, their are thousands of companies out their..im sure they dont care about you, drivers are a dime-a-dozen, for every one driver they fire or quits im sure they have 3 drivers to fill that spot...THEY DONT CARE! -
bigbad.... you seem to be taking this personally....
almost like you have some stake in the company....
almost like.... you manage or own the company
Could it be you have a hidden agenda on this forum?Eskimo6804 Thanks this. -
I actually don't, I am a retired former fleet owner from Wisconsin quit driving about 10 years ago...sold all my "head aches" and moved back home to Vernon, CA.
I just don't like the fact that as I read through all these forums and discussion that all these other drivers just "hate" these companies. It annoys the heck out of me.
Not all the people on here who post are the greatest of people, i bet 90% are criminals with felonies, once they get fired from companies they find these web pages and go and bad mouth companies.
.as for Bhandal Trucking I dont have the slightest of clue of who they are nor do I give a rats as..besides this posting, but from what i have read and researched I cant find a single thing that supports any ones views as to their "IRS problem".CornCob Thanks this. -
It's funny to see all the negative comments about their IRS problems, safety issues, etc.. Like you said, "...if you dont want to drive their dont..go some where else".
Wondering also, what "student" schlepper004's agenda is????schlepper004 Thanks this.
