I thought of a couple other ones. One is in Ohio at the US33 and US127 intesection. I can't remember the name but the food is great and they have room for maybe 15-20 trucks.

Another place that's not a truckstop but has parking for a few trucks is in Indiana at the intersection of US36 and US35. It's a mom and pop diner and they have great food. I stopped here a lot on my way to Kokomo.

order the taco plate some time. i had em ship my mom one of them #### cinnamon rolls, got to illinois in one day. she always wants to know when im going back through to get her another. theres one on 94 i think it is thats right behind an outlet mall in wisconsin, small, good food. truckers to the left, you other people to the right kinda place.

"Ramblers Roost" in Middle Point Ohio, off of US30 about 12 miles east of Van Wert. Off the beaten track so you get a great night sleep. Great pies!

I'm sure everyone has eaten at the "Skyway Diner" off of Truck Rte 1&9/Central Ave in South Kearney, NJ. It looks so 'old school' they filmed an episode of "the Sopranos" there!

I forget the name of the place but the T/S next to the fairgrounds in Renfro Valley, KY.

Those are the most "old school" places I can remember.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a little place in Morton's Gap, KY that had some fine food served by friendly waitresses all for a reasonable price.

With my luck it's not there anymore, this was back in '95.

I love the Skyway Diner and always pig out when I'm there. The food is great and the portions are huge. I spent many nights in their little parking area. The cops patrol it regularly and I always felt safe there. I think the police station is right down the road. They have so many good things on the menu, it's hard to chose.

I haven't been to that area in a long time. But if I do, I'm stopping there again.

Maybe someone knows, I can't remember. About halfway across I-78 in PA. Off the ramp on the eastbound side sitting on top of a hill was a small restaurant with room for about four-five trucks. You can see the roof and trucks from the interstate on the SE corner. They served alot of Pennsylvania Dutch food that was out of this world. I went there a bunch of times but forgot the exit # it's been so long. Last time I went through I looked for it but missed it.

Henrys got spots for about 25 - 30 trucks. its quiet and pretty easy to get to.:biggrin_25515:

There is a truckstop in Newton, Ks. that used to be real nice with excellent food. They used to come out and fuel your truck, wash your windows, and kick your tires. I think it's still there but not as nice as it used to be. I imagine in the 70's and 80's it was a real nice truckstop.
