Old truck for new O/O

I would personally go with an older pre egr truck and buy from someone who owned it for awhile with a stack of big ticket receipts and not off of one of the many turd polishers out there. I would also steer clear of anything with an eaton automated transmission. Every one I know with them has had there share of headaches both new and older
