For those of us who live there, we may start to see some better rates to get home.

Funny, my 07, with model engine year 06 is good until 2016, with certificate from CARB. Rule 1, do your homework with CARB, like E-Mails, not a social website.

Oh to hell with all that they just need to make a fricken dock at the border and cross dock everything. If the Cali greenies don't want older trucks in their state FINE stay the hell out of the other 47 states in the us. No offense to my fellow drivers from Cali but CARB has gone way to far this time.

Most owner operators from Cali own older model trucks. They r going to have lots of them out of business just to make the big truck corp's left alone to make big money.not a smart idea. There should be a way to sue them in Supreme Court so poor owner operators can buy newer trucks. Or at least buy truck with zero interest until paid off.

I am curious to see how many big companies are going to have a CA dedicated fleet and they just run freight from CA to points like Phoenix, Yuma, LV, and where ever else just on the other side of the border. Probably going to see a lot of them doing this. Like Schneider, they bought how many thousands of gliders in 2013?

I was thinking the same thing , sort of a shorthaul division to make deliveries & pickups in Calif and run into the bordering states to switch with long haul trucks.

    * REGISTERED with CARB and my CALIFORNIA trucks are BRAND NEW so no PROBLEM *
