    " I don't drink or gamble, so it was a boring layover"...……..well, you could always drink non-alcoholic drinks in the bar, right ? Or walk the aisles between the slot machines and table games. Have a nice buffet meal too.

    I didn't mean to give the impression i just sat in the truck all weekend. But the main reason people go to Vegas for the gambling. I had a room at Wild Wild West and did get out to see some of the town via Bus rides. Saw some movies, but see no interest in walking around a casino. And i did get plenty to eat.
    My comment was more about why when someone asks for a parking recommendation, Location of bar's in the main topic.

    I was broke down in Vegas for 8 days one time. I didn't have any problem findings things to do.Though I did tip a few and actually made a little money. Even if you don't gamble the casinos on the Strip are something to see. You don't even need to go inside. And then there was the Fremont Street Experience. Also rented a Harley for a day and rode out by the dam.
