I am going to Brooklyn NY could you please tell me where did you cross at from NJ ? I drove thru it before but its a hell .I had a flatbed with small load before now i am going with 13'1"
Please let me know where you crossed at.

I live in Brooklyn Bed-Stuy and Park in Brownville. It is a pain. Its like playing tectris with double parked cars, people clogging up the intersection because they don't know not to and no one can get through, just a crazy place to be a truck driver. I'm moving to pa because I'm sick of it. You really have to be one tough sob to be a trucker in ny. I've put up with it for awhile and I'm done.

 

Never saw this before, but for future reference go to the flatbed/heavy haul section. But if you do it again cross at the GW bridge call High wide and heavy for your escorts. I go into the city a lot anywhere from 10 wide to 16 wide its not that bad once you get use to it and find a good set of pilots
