Does this apply to just accidents in tractor trailer's. I assume it includes cars too and if that's the case does it need to be put on the application if it didn't include another vehicle? I assume it does but would like to know for sure, thanks!
On applications when it asks for accidents..

Put everything. Explain what happened. They may or may not ask the details if you get to the orientation. If you lie and say "no" they will find out and turn you down for fibbing.

Moving Forward Thanks this. -
If the police or insurance didn't get involved in your accident, I don't see why you would mention it..

Read the questions carefully and answer them truthfully. An accident means an accident. Of course it doesn't mean just tractor trailer because you are a student. But only report what is on record as with a police report. Bumping someone in a parking lot and you all went your merry way is an accident but it wasn't reported. If you run off in a ditch and got a wrecker with no accident report then no don't report it. Don't volunteer information that isn't on record.

You can go to any AAA office and buy a drivers abstract, you have two choices, a full or a ten year. The full is more expensive but it will give you all of your driving activity with dates and outcome. If a Co. or school wants a copy of your abstract for the last ten years, do not send them a full, especially if you had accidents or violations older than ten yrs. (Out of sight, out of mind). Read the questions on every application carefully and do not volunteer any info. that they did not ask for. If you have a question about a question, do not assume, call the recruiter and clarify what they want. You can be eliminated from a position for answering one question wrong. I was eliminated for a position with a very good Co. because I had an accident that I listed because it was in their 10yr. time frame. If I would have waited two weeks before I applied, the accident would have dropped off of the time frame. I hit a car that ran a red light because the cops were chasing it. I was eliminated because this Co. claimed that they could not hire me because I was the hitting vehicle. If you lie or mis-represent it will come back to haunt you and cost you money. A lot of Co. will invite you to orientation and then check your facts while you are at orientation, not prior. If you travel hundreds of miles on a greyhound or drive to their facility and they eliminate you, your responsible to get yourself home. Good luck, hope this helps

Include all motor vehicle accidents. They don't need to know about the accident you had after eating a greasy burger and not being able to make it to the head.
