On Board Weighing

    I would use a digital readout gauge for an onboard scale. I have used Right Weigh analog gauges and been able to get my weight close to correct very often. When using an analog gauge you are guessing if the needle isn't sitting exactly on a mark. With digital readouts some of the guess is taken out of the equation.

    I agree I have analog guages and it is a guestimation on where that needle is. Digital would be alot better

    Need to be on flat level ground or as close to it as possible. It's a good guide that should keep you away from the cat scale 99% of the time but, when in doubt, cat scale it out.

    For the vast majority of us a couple suspension gauges is more than sufficient. Just keep in mind if you charge by weight, they are not considered a certified scale, so not legal to use for that purpose.
