    Congratulations, now don't wait more than a couple months (like 2 at most). These things seem to have an expiration date on them, no matter how many years experience you have.

    How about an update over a year later? I did pass my pre-trip and driving test on the first try, 10-4-2012. I have my CDL-A with N and T endorsements. However, right after I received the commercial license a local non driving job offer kept from behind the wheel. I have now lost interest in driving at the moment and doubt that will ever change. I can say it was one excellent training exercise and a challenge to learn to back, dock, offset, and my favorite parallel park an 18 wheeler. Good luck to all that are just getting into trucking and good luck to those who have made a career as a professional driver.
