Good luck man. I read on your other post that you went thru the physical today. Is there any big guys there in your class and did they pass the physical?

follow the rules. Larry the orientation instructor is awesome, just follow his instructions and listen to what he has to say. You go ahead of him he will let you know it and the rest of the class. He is an old school military :) if the door is closed don't expect to be let in the classroom lol. He will lay the rules out on day one. Just follow them and you will be okay. I know the only ones that had to road test were the people that took refresher courses or had driving xp. There were two school graduates and they did not have to road test.

I was there last week until Friday, they sent me home due to no mentors that are in the northeast that are non smokers so they are looking at Caroliner terminal for a mentor for me as far as I know, plus I was not coded in the system yet. This afternoon I was coded and got my driver number but my DM is out today so another day waiting on a mentor. I hope I get one soon this hanging around stinks lol. but it's all good. I enjoyed my orientation you can learn alot from it. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info please keep updating. i graduate in Dec & the plan is to go with Swift. was warned about Larry by the recruiter that visited school Retired MaJ Nam vet is what she said. Thats ok. I agree sittin & waitin does suck ,plus your not makin any $$$$$ sittin. hope ya dont have to wait long for your mentor, or for your own truck, after mentor time is up. are you goin OTR Dedicated or regional when ya go solo?
    Thanks in advance

When your solo the first 30 days are OTR. After that if there is an opening you can request to be reg or ded. I'm going to request reg northeast.
