Well...been divorced over 8 years...kids just about grown up...my current job is going no where. It's time to go back on the road again.
Drove TT most of the 90s..got out in 1999. The companies I've talked to said I have to go back to school. I say.."OK." Hell..i'm not hard to get a long with. So I was looking for a company school and decided on Prime for the training.
Why Prime you may ask? I hear they have a good training program and I will agree to be with them for a year as a company driver for the training. Nothing more. Nothing less. Once I get the training in then I can move on to a more local company. Plus they say they are National Guard friendly. I have less than 2 years to retire from the NG and nothing is going to mess that up.
Leasing option
I'm sure they have nice shiney trucks, but for $900 a week to lease one of their nice shiney trucks they must be insane. I did my time in Iraq and the Mexican border, I've seen insane. This qualifies as insane.
Now where is my Willie cds....
On the road again (sing it Willie)

Good luck! I went with Prime as my first company out of cdl school. Worse decision ever. Trainers didn't care to training. Plus the time period is ridiculous. They cheated me out of my training pay. They 600 a week never was my check 600 before taxes came out. I avg about 325 a week bring home for working on over 70 hours a week. The training period is 3-4 months long. 40,000 miles.
