On The Road Away From Home

fortunately not in that position, divorced a handful of times {just can't seem to please american women}
and my daughter is in college. My goal is to keep rolling and provide a great future for my daughter and who knows maybe save up for one of them smokin hot mail order brides and bring her for the ride

im right with you bro. have no wife or kids but an amazing and devoted girlfriend. she will do anything for me and just thinking of leaving her for weeks at a time makes me upset. however, she knew at the beginning of our relationship that i was choosing this profession and she has supported me from the beginning. if she loves you and wants a future then she must know that one year is nothing on the grand scale of the rest of your lives. mine knows that in order for me to get a local gig making decent money its a sacrifice we both must make. however, local jobs are out there and i actually found one today that may give me a chance. pay sucks buts its by the hour and i can work up to 70 hours. i may make more otr but ill take the crappy local job for experience so i can sleep in my bed next to her any day of the year.

 

My GF absolutely hates my job but she tolerates it because she knows I love it. But I will be looking for a local job once I get some experience. You can only listen to your 10yo daughter saying "daddy we need you home" so many times.

One good thing, every day at home is a priceless gem not to be squandered.
