My husband and I are just getting started and I have to have my "American Idol". We are looking for a satellite system that can be used in motion. Does anyone have any experience with satellite tvs and/or any recommendations on which system we should use? Also, do we have to buy the satellite system separately and does the direct tv/dish network have to be subscribed to separately? Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

vu cube has one that works while in motion... not sure about the satelite box i think just add a box to your home system and you are good to go

this is the link for the vu qube v30, http://www.kingcontrols.com/vu_qube/v30.asp it's the one you need and then just take your box (dish/driectv) and hook it up or you can add a box to your acc (dish) for $5 or $12 for a dvr. we had a 2 tv dvr (watch one a record on the other at the same time also handy for recording shows when we were sleeping) in are last truck and it was $12.95 a month for all the ch we had at home (not local)
