Just in case you are confused by that last post....Here's how the pay works. Work weeks run from Tuesday till the following Monday. You will get a check 2 weeks after you start driving. On Wednesdays you will get an email (if you register for it) that will show you what the FOLLOWING week's pay will be. 2 days later you will get your Comcard money (if you choose that option) for the money due from your current pay. On Tuesday the rest of that paycheck will be electronically deposited into your bank account. Sorry if that's confusing. I struggled with it at first too. You'll catch on.

    SESteve83 and SHOJim Thank this.

A full 2 weeks? So if I'm driving on the October 10 I won't get paid till the 24th or the 17th?

Again...paydays are on Tuesdays. If you start driving on the 10th, you should get paid on the 20th. It'll be a tiny check but it should be the 20th.

    FLYMIKEXL Thanks this.

Oops I was looking at the wrong month. The 10th should get you a check on the 21st, but only for the miles you drove on the 10th, because that is the last day of the work week.

    FLYMIKEXL Thanks this.

So if you put money every week on your Comcard, you'll get it on the 21st. If you had more pay coming it would come on the 25th.

I think I understand but that's a long way to go without getting paid. I'm already bout to be down to just eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the next two weeks of training

Ok. Understandable. Let's use your start time. Except instead of the 10th, which is a Monday, I will use the 11th. The 11th is a Tuesday and the beginning of a new work week, easier for me to describe. SO...here we go. If you started on the 11th, all miles that you and your trainer drive from that day until midnight on the 17th would be considered your first week. The 18th will begin a new week. You will not receive any pay that week. Your first pay will happen on the 25th, for the first pay week. You will get a notification the previous Wednesday or Thursday (the 19th or 20th) that will contain all of your information about the upcoming paycheck. Miles driven, taxes, gross pay, net pay, etc. Then you'll get it on the 25th. NOW...when you are finishing class you will have the option to put part of your weekly pay on your Comcard. I chose to put $100 a week on it. Using my example of the 11th as a start date, I would receive a payment notice email for the following week on the 19th or 20th and receive that check on the 25th EXCEPT for the money I chose to put on my Comcard. THAT money would be available to me on Friday the 21st. Comcard money comes before the remaining balance of your check is deposited into your account. I have no idea why, so please don't ask. I understand when my money is coming and how much, and when each type is available. Only because I am now used to it. You'll be a little confused at first but you'll figure it out.
