I feel your pain man. I had to get a loan when I got home from school to cover a month's worth of bills. I had a great job, but chose to follow this dream. Thank God for an understanding wife. I went from $1k a week to nothing for 6 weeks straight. Plus putting up money for class and living expenses. Just comes down to how bad you want it. Trust me, it's worth it. This job is awesome. And once you have a couple years under your belt of experience and a clean safety record, the world is your oyster.

Your Comcard is part of the Comdata system. It's like a company credit card that you use to buy fuel, pay for repairs on the road, etc. You can also use it for cash advances, which I don't recommend. If you choose to do so, you can designate a specific amount of money per week (which I did, $100) that gets put on that card for your use. $100 gets put on my Comcard every week. Which means $100 is subtracted from that week's paycheck. I did that for a reason. I don't want to mess with my debit card out here. I can get that $100 at any truck stop, once a week. It's more than enough to get me by for the week. You can put any amount you want on it, Millis will automatically put it there instead of into your bank account. You can choose any amount you want, and change it at any time.

If you guys have any further questions regarding pay, finances, or taxes, PLEASE consult your accountant, your instructor, your trainer, or payroll. I don't really know how to make any of this stuff make sense to y'all until you're out here doing it.
