No problem glad I could help. Anything else just feel free to ask. I have heard of some trainers who wouldn't allow a radio while student was driving, but it's not company policy or anything. My trainer rarely would listen to the radio and it drove me nuts lol.

Ya me personally as someone who's about to become a trainer in next few weeks, I can understand no radio for the 1st few days. Get accustomed to driving, the sounds your truck makes, and full concentration on road. But once trainer has a feel for your driving and mentality I'd be willing to let students have the radio on. That silence does get awkward lol

Hello, and your thread here was a great read!! I graduate this week from Millis on Wednesday, and it was one thing I am very happy that I followed through with. I am lucky and got a trainer right off the bat, and go out and start my 15k Monday morning, 10/24. I met you the day you came to Trenton and tested out with Bill and got your truck, I was that fat older guy in the class and out on the range, ;-) I could see the shear excitement in your eyes, for all your hard work and toughing it out on the road sharing a tight space with another. I know that is going to be tough, but if anything, I am made of pure perseverance. I would like to call upon you in the future for advise that I will come up in the very near future.

    Peace out....

Yup, I definitely remember you :) Congrats man, glad you made it! Did the other guy make it out as well? And please, feel free to get ahold of me if you need anything. It'd be my pleasure to help you if I can. I'll send you a private message with my phone number. If I don't respond right away, please be patient. I don't answer the phone while I'm driving. Good job man. It's a little scary at first when you get your own truck, but you'll be ok. Just soak up as much as you can from Perry. He is definitely not my favorite person in the world, but he is very knowledgeable. I learned a lot from my training, as will you.
