It's a shame that you feel you have to end it here. ...would have been nice to hear how your day's went, and how you might have handled any problems along the way with potential future drivers....you do what you think is best. ..
Millis is still #1on my list. ...going to make it a new years resolution lol..
Well take. ...you and your family be safe.

Fear not my friend, I'll be around. I will make myself available to answer questions and help when I can. I'm not going anywhere. I will just be excluding details about specific things that a certain person can use ammo.

Wow sorry to hear your trainer didn't talk to you about it which would of been the right thing to do. A trainer is supposed to be a coach even after you get out on your own. Millis should be pleased with all the help you've given to potential new drivers. I'm sure their recruiters are happy about it.

Just in case the Millis drivers that helped me today read this thread, thank you very much. I went to the Miller brewery in Milwaukee today. It's very confusing for a new guy. Really tight streets, lots of construction, very little room for error. Yet another example of what the people are like at this company. Cheers to you, I appreciated your help more than you know.

Spotters . That word has now become my slang for "saviors". I owe you guys a beer. Feel free to collect :)

So, after dropping my trailer at the brewery yesterday and waiting for a load, I eventually asked dispatch f it was ok to go to a truck stop until a load was assigned to me. This morning I got a load from the brewery. So I went back and picked it up and headed to Columbus. Lots of places you go to will have maps if they have a large shipping yard. If ever there was a place that needs to hand out maps, this one is on top of the list. And alas, no map. Be prepared for a rough couple visits when you start going there. There are always plenty of Millis drivers and Millis spotters around, so don't be afraid to ask for help.

Thank you sir :) I am about 25 minutes from my delivery, and it's not scheduled until 11am. So I'm sippin' a beer and watching the Steelers play.
