    My 2016 Prostar with Navistar engine, has crapped the bed. I believe it's the transmission.

    I have to have another lightweight, but dog forbid it's a Freightliner.

    If I choose a condo, I'm off regional.

    Leasing still sounds like an awful option.
    Well, guess I'm stuck hoping to get another new Prostar that hasn't been trashed.

    Ugh.

    You know the freightliner's are more reliable right? Just take one I liked that freightliner lw I had. Enough that I would have bought it instead of the condo that I have if the price difference was more than about $2500.

    LOL, and I had 2 Freightliner LW's crap out under me, but the International was the one that lasted. I think its more of a individual truck issue. BTW both of the FL that died were because of the transmission issue's

    I didn't think they were that bad though or I would have mentioned it when you were getting your 1st one. I'm sorry that I didn't. Prime only keeps their trucks 3 years I didn't think you'd have any problems.

    So, I'm in a two year old lightweight FL. I'm underwhelmed.

    Just going to try to push through this adversity. But I don't like this truck.

    The shop has said they have three Internationals that give up after 180 miles.

    The other option was to have me drive a condo to Springmo to get another truck, more trucks better selection. But what are the odds of getting another brand new Prostar?

    If i was you, i would be calling Success Leasing at SPRI on Monday and ask them. It is normally pretty easy to get a run going thru SPRI

    If they'll let you go to sprimo and get a new one that might be a good idea. I don't think that they are as bad your luck with them has been but after being bit twice by the prostars you really want another one?
