Look up Wheeler, hauling vehicles, his drivers make $100,000 + a year. Good company, but the work is a ball breaker.

I see those guys loading multiple vehicles near the Port of Baltimore often. Looks like it sucks but if money is one's sole motivator they should be looking into it.

Run for congress. You'll be a millionaire in 2 years from all of the insider information on stocks you'll get that are illegal for the general public, and you'll get lifetime medical and pension even if you don't get re-elected after 2 years.

It is good money, but the work... I was there in the winter of 2014 I think, working up in Avon Lake at the Ford Assembly Plant right on Lake Erie... Rain, snow, about killed me, long story, I made enough to buy a plate and pay the bills and left there for my current carrier. To much, especially after four years in Montana and North Dakota in the oil field.

I surely wouldn't do it but money isn't everything to me and frankly as an OO I'm very close to where I want to be. I live comfortably and most importantly...happily.

I hear you there, but I needed cash quick with this EPA truck of mine, as it was bankrupting me, hell it still is! LOL! Wheeler filled the bill, got me to a good place. Very happy. ;-)

That's good. I know they have a yard in the 21225 area too. I looked into possibly leasing my truck their around late 2016. Didn't sound bad, just wasn't for me. Open deck work is my thing especially if it involves chains and binders.

All open deck, serious chaining too... I was pulling a low boy/drop deck, real ball breaker especially in the weather I was working in, all of us were working in. Not a good time of year to start as a newbie to this line of work. If I was Wheeler I would curtail any hiring in the winter.

    Welcome to Wheeler Trucking!

I stopped reading at some tank places require you to be clean shaven. Is this for real? My beard is neat and trimmed. It isn’t going off my face lmao

In case you ever need to don a respirator. Pretty standard across the industry if you are dealing in those types of chemicals.
