I hear ya but it really ticks me off what a lot of these companies do to rookies that don't know any better that being said guys need to do the research before signing up especially in this day with the internet very easy to do.

I did a lot of research but found a few good reviews saying that the bad reviews are just lazy people who don't work hard and they are pissed at the world I found that plausible so took a chance and what do you know all the bad reviews were spot on, and I promise you I am no slouch I work hard and am very motivated

Come on over to Swift as a company driver.
With your experience you won't start at the bottom level, and you can make better than that.

I might net around 600 with a 2800 mile week, but that is after taxes, insurance and 300 for child support.

Granted, you will be making a bit lees than me at first because I have been here for some time. But if you have to drive 2000 miles to break even on the lease you are in the poverty level.
If I make 1200 miles in a week I break even, as a company driver, with those expenses.

I saw that trap very early when they tried to convince me to lease a truck.
And I saw it because I was on this forum and people, like Chinatown and others, warned about it.

Unless you are very savvy in doing business and can handle your own books, and work pretty hard all the time, a lease deal is no deal at all.
Except for the one leasing to you and collecting your money.

If you have a way out of the deal, take it.

Didn't you just say it is a walk away lease, only 6 months per contract?
Then don't you simply have to get through this 6 months and walk away?

How many more months will that be, from right now?

Anybody that says they're going to gross $6000 on 25% pay. Obviously isn't thinking clear. Evidenced by the fact he's doing a FLEECE. All he thinks is dollars. And he's not even putting 2 and 2 together.

Son. You're going to be lucky to make $1000 a week @25%. . And come the end of the year when the all mighty baby sitter gets thrown on your dash. Expect a 25% cut in pay . That's your realistic pay. But still beats what you're making now. And this new job you're getting. Better not be a 1099 job.
