I have a 2003 379 pete with two piece (vent window + reg. window) windows. both of the windows are air operated. I have striped the truck down to paint it and when I removed the door panels and windows I noticed the the window channel goes all the way around after I removed the vent window it looks like I could just replace the window with the newer one piece window and alter the small look out window on the passenger side so that the bigger window could go all the way down. Outlaw customs offers a conversion kit with electric controls for $1300, but I already have the air and the brackets to mount the new windows. Does anyone know how to do this thank you.

I'd just go with the conversion and plug the air lines off. Surely they have detailed instructions. All you have to do is run a new hot off the fuse panel. It has spare slots just for accessories like that.
If you wanted to stay with air I'm sure all you have to do is remove the vent track and swap the big glass. Maybe you can just buy the glass and felt? It's $1050 now.
Here you go... you have to get a load to CA!

What you do about the interior door handle on a 98 Pete, it hits the glass when rolling window down?
