It takes a bit of time, in the meantime, verify they've received your insurance information and BOC-3 as well. Nothing will happen until that's all on file.

There is a minimum amount of time that is required to have your authority become active. From what others have posted in the past, I would expect your authority to be active sometime this week as long as your insurance is in place. You should be able to go on the fmcsa website and check the status. It took about 6-8 weeks when I got my authority. That was quite a few years ago. Everything moved a bit slower with regular mail. We could not go on line and check or file the paperwork. Things were done by hand.

Well Had to call and cancel 2 loads this morning. Went out and started my truck and it started shaking and white smoke pouring out. Coded injector #6. 3rd injector in 6 months/75Kmiles. Good news its still under warranty. Bad news it will take them dumb buts at Volvo over a week to fix it well thats the normal havent took it over there yet. Waiting til my wife gets off work and get bail money. Guess I'll tell them about that coolant leak that they have charged me 3 times to fix that's still leaking and I am in no way going to be nice about it (reason for bail money)
Well I have to go now......Going to kick myself in the but some more for buying a volvo
And I have to wait til that DOT man leave from in front of my house neighbor has hie DOT audit today I havent had mine yet -
If I'm not mistaken, you recently got your Authority? Your audit is still quite a ways away. I also assume you have a Volvo motor in your truck? Can't believe it will take them a whole week to get you back on the road.
Sorry about your bad luck my friend. -
This Volvo dealership is crap and stay behind on work and if you drop it off they think you dont need it so the waiting customers and big accounts come first. And yes I hate to admit it is a Volvo motor -
Can't tell from phote how old you Volvo is and if your warranty is for a new or extended plan. But regardless, bet you are glad you have it.
While I haven't had my truck in for a lot of repairs I have made a point of getting to know the service manager. He knows my name because I sent the owner of the company a letter saying what a great job he did (and all he really did was his job). Now when I call he asks when I need it by and give him plenty of time. I haven't needed to pull the triger on a rush job yet.
And injector is an injector and they go out on all engines. Not a special problem with Volvo that I have heard of. EGR was a different story but believe that was a specific part issue that has been fixed. Not hearing about the multiple issues like you did in the early days. Seems now once it is replaced all is good. That tells me it was part design issue that has been fixed. Volvo replaced a lot of those under warranty. -
Its an 07 I have about 23K left on factory warranty They just called to tell me that they had to order the injector should be in tomorrow and they are still looking for the coolant leak. I did notice when I took it over there that they have a new shop manager and office personnel hopefully a turn for the good

Do you have the pre-07 engine? I have an '06 and all of the '07 I looked at had the '06 in them.
Here's to hoping all the injectors go out before the warranty expires. -
